Application Developers

• Design solutions, writing and testing code, automating testing and deployment
• Work in collaboration with members of product and design teams
• Collaborate with partnering technology team members to ensure a seamlessly integrated end-to-end design
• Enforce existing process guidelines while contributing to new processes, guidelines, team rules and best practices
• Have an open mindset to working with and picking up new technologies to achieve design, code, testing and deployment tasks
• Research and learn new methodologies and technologies, to bring new knowledge to the team

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, OR certification from an accredited bootcamp or institution and equivalent on the job experience.
• A collaborative work ethic, the ability to work with Project Managers, Developers and Customers
• You’re a tinkerer and love technology and creative coding – i.e. you love hackathons and innovation sprints!
• Experience with JavaScript Frameworks: React, Redux, Angular, Ionic
• Experience with Server Side Frameworks: Node, Express or PHP Symfony, Laravel
• Experience with Python and related frameworks including Django and Flask
• Proficiency with front-end development technologies: HTML5, CSS3
• Familiarity with front-end build tools: Gulp, NPM, Webpack or Parcel
• Understanding of AWS technologies: S3, SQS and EC2
• Interest in mapping technologies: Esri’s ArcGIS
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
